Why We Founded The Hidden Skein:

You know that feeling when you find a fabulous yarn that is perfect for your project? You grab a handful of skeins, envisioning the amazing sweater, scarf, blanket, etc that you are going to make. You work diligently, watching your vision come to life.  Then, as you are almost finished with the project, you realize you are one skein short!  Of course, now you can't find that last skein you need anywhere!  If you have ever felt this frustration, then you know why we founded The Hidden Skein.

Hi, I'm Tay, one of the founders of The Hidden Skein.  I live in Atlanta with my husband, our two boys, and our French Bulldog - Louis.  The Hidden Skein is a family business we started to help get all those amazing projects finished and, hopefully, inspire some new ones as well.  Every project shown on our blog, social media, and website has been created by a hidden skein team/family member.  The blog post - "Finding Calm One Stitch at a Time" was written by my incredibly talented niece Maya.  The beautiful scarf I am wearing in the photo was created by my sister-in-law and cofounder, Sonya.  Similarly, all of our "models" (the two-legged and the four-legged) are team/family members.  Be on the lookout for Louis, who will be making his social media modeling debut soon.

So remember, if you are searching for that hard-to-find fiber and can't locate it anywhere, check out The Hidden Skein.  If you don't see it on our website, don't worry.  Just click the contact button and send us an inquiry.  We have thousands of skeins, including sweater quantities, that are not currently displayed on our website.  (I am trying to get them posted as quickly as I can).  We will search our inventory and get back to you right away.
